Comes 25th May, what will change for me as a patient of Studio57clinic?

Comes the 25th of May, should you not have chosen to 'Opt in' to continue to receive e-newsletters from us. Your data will be removed from our mailing lists. This means that you won't receive any further newsletters from us. But don't worry, this doesn't affect your medical reports or contact details, this will still remain safe and secure on our booking systems if you choose to vsit us again. This means you will still receive email reminders and text messages of your appointment. The big thing that will change will be that you will never be included into any further promotional emails and e-newsletters from us again, unless you change your mind... which can happen!

GDRP compliance... we're ready!!

GDRP is a new EU Data Protection Act happening end of May. This means that we can expect a huge reduction of SPAM and junk emails as it will become against the law to send out newsletters without confirmation from your end that you are ok to receive.  At Studio57clinic, we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our visitors to our website. In particular, we want you to know that Studio57clinic is not in the business of selling, renting or trading email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes. We just don’t do that sort of thing. But just in case you don’t believe us, in this Privacy Policy, we’ve provided lots of detailed information on when and why we collect your personal information, how we use it, the limited conditions under which we may disclose it to others and how we keep it secure. Grab a cuppa and read on.

TM2 (Blue Zinc) - Private Practice Software - clinic and reception management software
We use a very secure premium practice management and electronic clinical records system called TM2/3 that stores your personal information and allows us to organise our clinic bookings so efficiently.  All data is backed up safely to their secure servers (in line with GDPR) at a data centre within the UK. We chose NOT to use dropbox or Googledrive to back up our data as most cloud back up providers host their services outside of the EU (which makes it non GDRP compliant). You can find out more about TM2/3 data protection by visiting https://www.tm3practicemanagement.com/information/policy/

Google Analytics - website traffic analytics service
When someone visits www.studio57clinic.co.uk we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. You can find out more about Google Analytics data privacy and security by visiting https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en

Wufoo - Online form builder
When you complete a form (e.g when booking an appointment), your information gets stored by our online form builder Wufoo. (We use Wufoo to create our easy to complete forms and collect your data, we then export your information to Sendinblue where we create and send our email newsletters). While Wufoo already uses state of the art SOC II certified data servers in the United States, Wufoo are implementing increased security standards that GDPR introduces and will continue to evaluate their practices to ensure they align with best-in-class industry standards. For more information, please visit: https://www.wufoo.com/blog/wufoo-gdpr-well-compliant-new-european-data-protection-rules/

SendinBlue - e-newsletter marketing software
As part of the registration process for our weekly clinic availabilities e-newsletter, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about stuff you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don't rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses. We use a third-party provider, SendinBlue, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please visit  https://www.sendinblue.com/blog/privacypolicy. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing our data protection officer Mitchell@studio57clinic.co.uk

Access to your personal information
Under GDPR, you have the right to access and amend any of your personal data that we hold. You are entitled to view, amend, or delete any personal information that we hold. Email your request to our data protection officer Mitchell Phillips at mitchell@studio57clinic.co.uk
