Elle Phillips, Director Studio57clinic
Elle has worked as a clinical sports therapist for over 10 years specialising in injury rehabilitation, common or postural imbalances, sports injuries, chronic back pains, hip, shoulder and neck problems either stress related or simply down to poor ergonomics. Elle recently qualified in acupuncture and kinesology taping.
Elles first career as a professional dancer took her all over the world and pushed her body to it's limits. Her love for injury rehabilitation stems from the knee injuries she sustained as a dancer. Having trained to professional level in dance and gymnastics from a very early age, Elle gained huge experience in flexibility and postural training. She also coached gymnastics and trampolining to county level. This knowledge and understanding provided her with invaluable groundings and success in treating and rehabilitating young athletes from local schools and clubs. Elle works closely with local clubs including Brighton and Hove Gymnastics club and Brighton and Hove Athletics club.
A little more info about Elle -
Sports - Running, yoga, pilates, dancing.
Last time I was really scared - When a still life statue on the George Street suddenly 'booed' me as I watched him intently- everybody in the audience found it hillarious as I shreiked!
Strengths - Organised, a good friend and a hard worker.
Weaknesses - Spinning too many plates- another phrase for that is- a working mother!
Most impressive location I've visited - Hong Kong at Christmas time while working aboard a 4,000 passenger heavy cruise liner docking into Kowloon viewing the magical and impressive buildings, light displays and ginormous Santa clauses climbing up the sides of Skyscrapers.
Final meal - A bar of Maya Gold (Greens & Blacks Chocolate)
Greatest self accomplishment - Having my son and running a business.
2 people I have round a dinner table - Darcey Bussell and Micky Flanigan- not at the same dinner though!
Desert island disks, which album? - It would have to be a Lionel Album!
Animal I think best reflects me - A swan- protective of her family, looks pretty graceful but under the water is paddling like crazy!!!!
